Sherri Borden Colley amateurish article was meant to be a criticism 2007

The underhand, amateurish tactics used by Sherri Borden Colley to promote her personal agenda, have obviously backfired.

Although the article by Sherri Borden Colley was meant to be negative, in the end it proves that the Goudas sugar is truly A 100% pure sweet deal after all.

01 JUL 2007

It was very amateurish and tabloid in style.
However, it did state that the Goudas sugar sold very well, in fact it was sold out at some stores even before the final special date.

The article draws the attention of the public to the warning on the packaging.
A warning which Spyros Peter Goudas itself chose to include.

Goudas Sugar is made from 100% pure sugar cane.
It contains no artificial ingredients, no additives, no derivates and no preservatives.

There is nothing ominous or foreboding about the warning.
It is simply placed on the label in the best interest of the consumer.
Goudas Foods Company should be applauded for the inclusion of this warning.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), according to the article, stated that the sugar was tested by the CFIA labs and have found no food safety issue according to agency spokesperson, Mr. Etienne Chiasson.
Additionally, there have been NO recalls or allergy alerts for Goudas Sugar whatsoever.

Therefore, Sherri Borden Colley, Staff Reporter for the Chronicle Herald will not be receiving any awards or accolades for this article.

The underhand, amateurish tactics used by Sherri Borden Colley to promote her personal agenda, have obviously backfired.

The Spyros Peter Goudas line of products has been around for almost 40 years.
Mr. Spyros Peter Goudas personally prides himself in the care and attention he places in ensuring that the final product offered to the consumer is the best the world has to offer.

Goudas 100% pure sugar sold across Canada.

It is available in thousands of independent stores, large food chain stores, and in wonderful department stores such as Zellers.

Actually, the spokeswoman for Zellers stated in an interview:
We ve dealt with Goudas Foods for some time and we know they have the highest standards in manufacturing and packaging.

The Goudas Food Company, which is directed under the personal care and supervision of the food empire,s founder (as the article calls him), goes the extra length to ensure that his products, over 1,000 of them, comply with internationally recognized food safety systems to ensure the manufacture of safe food products.

He personally went to South America in the sugar cane producing areas to examine the manufacturing procedures, the quality controls and the specifications for the proper granulation involved in the sugar manufacturing process.

He had talks and meetings with the largest cane sugar-producing experts in the world, thereby ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards for the consumer.

So, although the article by Sherri Borden Colley was meant to be negative.

In the end it proves that the Goudas sugar is truly A 100% pure sweet deal after all.

COLOMBIA BOOK by Spyros Peter Goudas "Experiencing Columbioa: Where business and pleasure shake hands with passion!"

COLOMBIA BOOK by Spyros Peter Goudas

"Experiencing Columbia: Where business and pleasure shake hands with passion!"

This book was "written by Spyros Peter Goudas to inform and educate those who are unfamiliar with Columbia, and to allow Colombians to experience a third party's impression of their country, as well as to feed the curiosity of those who wonder about its characteristics.

I wanted to express my thoughts on this beautiful country, sharing everything I learned about the people, the food and the culture."

Advice to men.

Please avoid taking your wife/girlfriend/ companion to the emerald and gold boutiques! Your pockets will be severely and irreparably damaged.

Native Colombian craft boutiques are so wonderful that they are hazardous to your wealth. The crafts are so beautiful, creative, and original, they attract women like bees to flowers. And believe me, I am speaking from a personal point of view.

There are seven women in my office and I had to purchase a souvenir for each one especially my private secretary who is turning sixty-nine years young, and refuses to retire!
I purchased seven bracelets and necklaces at a very reasonable price from one of the street vendors who told me that they were real precious stones, including diamonds and emeralds. He was even willing to give me a hand written and personally signed by him certificate of authenticity in Spanish (which I did not understand anyway).
Since I am in the food business, I have no knowledge about diamonds and emeralds and I had no reason to doubt what so ever that a legitimate Colombian street vendor would lie to me.
Upon my return to the office, I presented the precious presents to the ladies in the office. Each one immediately hugged me and I was graced with seven kisses.

My Experience Getting to Know the True Mr. Goudas (by Livia Papadhimitri)

At this point of the book, I believe the reader feels as though they know Mr. Goudas well.
For me though, the experience of the completion of this book, was also an opportunity to truly get to know my boss, a person who I thought I knew well, but in fact I didn’t know at all.
Every day I would come to work, pass by his office to tell him good morning before I went to my office, and in the end of the day, I would pass by his office again to say goodbye.
This daily routine went on for years. Only when Mr. Goudas began the writing of his biography and needed my help for the editing, I actually had the chance to get to know the real person behind the brand.

During the completion of the book, Mr. Goudas and I have spent countless hours talking in his office, when his mind was clear from all the daily problems.

Often, he has narrated, very spontaneously, different stories about his life.
During this period I learned that some of his experiences, were so important that they have truly carved the direction of his life.
Others have determined various important characteristics of his personality.

While Mr. Goudas narrates various stories he has lived, his words and his facial expression, many times uncover a person full of sensitivity and emotions.

There have been many times where my eyes have watered with tears of joy or sadness, following a story he told me.
Many times I have been surprised with his honesty, as well as his bravery to open his heart with no fear or hesitation.
The same honesty is incorporated in this Biography, because Mr. Goudas wanted to touch the readers heart, but also show him/her, in his own words, who is the real Peter and how his life has evolved until now.

I would like to add something, that maybe has been mentioned previously in the book, but has not been emphasized enough: Mr. Goudas’ heart.
I have never met a person with such a big heart and generous soul in my life.

It has touched me but also inspired me that there are still people like him left in the world, those who are not only preoccupied with personal interests and earnings.

I admire Mr. Goudas that he managed to accomplish his goal to place his whole life in a book, with truth being number one priority.

My general conclusion from this whole experience is that there is not one boring story in his life.
He has lived a life just like a movie, full of interesting events and never with a dull moment.
The most exciting part of it all, though, is that the stories of his life never end, and personally, I can’t wait to hear the next story he will narrate to me.

Livia Papadhimitri and Spyros Peter Goudas

Dear Mr Goudas, I came across an article that was written at the top of the photo from Livia Papadhimitri; needless to say I spend the whole night watching videos of Livia and Sophia Papadhimitri classical music which were created as they played along with their father. That was a beautiful experience for me, but I end up in a very big problem since the article was referring to your biography The Immigrant page 171. So I got very lucky to find a copy of your biography on the eBay from somebody in Peru, South America... That was the beginning of my life change .

Do you have some time to read the Letters of Appreciation?
